Problem/Feedback:
The difference graphs on the sides of the main page shows too much information at once. Include a way to present trade opportunities on a regional basis.
Feature added:
A graphical overlay was added to the entire front map and provides us a clean canvas to present information on. The first feature we added to this canvas is a constantly updating highlight of buy and sell opportunities within each region.
Each time the side difference graphs update for the latest market conditions, one region will highlight the city that is currently trading the most above its unbiased curve (highlighted with a white circle), and another region will highlight the city trading most below its curve (red circle).
A trader should view the white circle cities as a selling opportunity, while the red circle city as a buying opportunity.
And since the underlying core of weather trading is statistical arbitrage, the three most correlated cities are also shown with colored lines emanating from the highlighted city.
The regional highlight will cycle around as the side difference graphs update.
